focus on leadership, teamwork,
and professional standards.
He holds a Bachelor of Science
in Film Production with a
concentration in Directing
from The Los Angeles Film
School and a Master of Fine
Arts in Film Production
from Full Sail University,
where he graduated as
Salutatorian.

Cannes World Film Festival. His film Sea Salt is distributed on Amazon Prime Video. In addition to his creative work, Daniel teaches Film Production and Screenwriting at Grand Canyon University, where he mentors emerging filmmakers while continuing to develop narrative films that connect with audiences worldwide.
DANIEL MONTENEGRO
Screenwriter • Director • Educator
I am a screenwriter, director, and educator with experience taking films and creative concepts from conception through production and post-production.
As the founder of Heritage Pictures, I have led collaborative film projects from the page to the screen, working across writing, directing, production, and post. My teams and I are proud to have received festival recognition and wins both domestically and internationally.
As an educator, I bring that same hands-on approach into the classroom—encouraging students to collaborate, take creative risks, and discover their own voices through storytelling.
